Internal Sales Executive 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established business based in Crawley.

This is a customer-focused sales role where you will take ownership of enquiries from initial contact through to order, ensuring opportunities are progressed, quotations are followed up and customers receive a high level of service throughout the sales process. 

The position would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, has a proactive approach to sales and is motivated by converting opportunities into successful outcomes.

 
The Role

• Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  
  
• Preparing accurate quotations and supporting customers with their requirements.
  
  
• Following up quotations and opportunities to maximise conversion.
  
  
• Maintaining regular communication with customers to progress sales.
  
  
• Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  
  
• Identifying opportunities to increase sales through additional products and services.
  
  
• Processing and managing customer orders.
  
  
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively.
  
  
• Supporting the wider sales team with larger or more complex opportunities.
  
  

The Person

• Previous experience within an Internal Sales, Sales Support or customer-focused commercial role.
  
  
• Confident telephone manner with strong relationship-building skills.
  
  
• Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple opportunities.
  
  
• Persistent yet professional approach to customer engagement.
  
  
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office packages, with CRM experience advantageous.
  
  

The Package

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
  
  
• 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
  
  
• Salary of £35,000 - £45,000pa, depending on experience.
