About the role

Are you a dedicated professional registered with the NI Social Care Council (NISCC) and holding an NVQ Level 3?

We are seeking committed Residential Care Workers to join our team in Belfast. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing high-quality, structured care and essential emotional support to young people with learning disabilities and autism within a professional residential environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver collaborative, person-centred care aligned with individual care plans.
  • Provide compassionate assistance with personal care, daily living skills, and medication administration.
  • Offer robust emotional and behavioural support, safely managing behaviours of concern during times of distress.
  • Facilitate community access and engagement to support individual independence and wellbeing.
  • Work flexibly across a varied rota, including early and late shifts, long days, and waking night shifts.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must possess current registration with the NI Social Care Council (NISCC).
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in a care-related subject.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Essential training: Safeguarding Level 2 and Advanced CPI / Safety Interventions.
  • Proven experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern.
  • Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate, patient approach.
  • Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting, including an Enhanced Access NI check.
