Randstad Education is currently seeking a dedicated Science Teacher on behalf of a highly regarded school in Sharnbrook. Key Responsibilities
Deliver High-Impact Science Lessons: Plan and teach stimulating Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE), aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
Full Teaching Duties: Take full ownership of your classes, including lab safety, lesson preparation, assessment, and constructive marking to drive student progress.
Engage Through Practical Work: Facilitate safe, exciting laboratory experiments that help pupils connect abstract scientific concepts to real-world applications.
Inclusive Classroom Management: Differentiate learning to stretch high achievers while providing structured support for students building core scientific understanding.
Faculty Collaboration: Participate actively in department planning, share best practices, and contribute to extra-curricular STEM clubs or revision sessions.
Candidate Profile
We are searching for an enthusiastic educator who combines strong scientific knowledge with an engaging, accessible teaching style.
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (Early Career Teachers are warmly encouraged to apply).
Demonstrated experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting.
Strong commitment to practical safety, classroom management, and maintaining high engagement.
Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and departmental peers.
Holds an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one through Randstad).
