Your Role and Responsibilities

• Work closely alongside the Registered Home Manager to oversee daily care operations and maintain exceptional standards across the property.

• Promote a supportive, homely environment while taking ownership of crucial administrative duties, care planning, and regulatory documentation.

• Establish trust-based, professional relationships with young people, providing steady guidance during challenging moments and celebrating individual progress.

• Act as a key liaison for external stakeholders, coordinating and participating in multidisciplinary reviews with social workers, local authorities, and family networks.

• Ensure strict adherence to care standards, safeguarding policies, and record-keeping protocols across the care team.

What we need from you

• Qualifications: Essential HNC and SVQ Level 4 in Social Care (or equivalent recognized qualification in childcare or education).

• Experience: Direct prior experience in a senior, supervisory, or management capacity within a residential child care or social care setting.

• Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

• Core Competencies: Strong emotional intelligence, leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and an unwavering commitment to child welfare.

Transferable Skills & Alternative Titles
