HGV Class 1 Multi-Drop Drivers Required

Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading distribution client based in Northampton. We are looking for professional and reliable drivers with a minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.

With immediate starts available, regular ongoing work and excellent rates of pay, this is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for stability and strong earning potential.


Location: Northampton
Shift Patterns: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week
Start Times: Between 04:00 and 12:00

The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to stores
• Typically completing 2-6 drops per shift
• Delivering across London and surrounding areas
• Using a pump truck to safely unload deliveries
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
  
  

Pay Rates

• £18.52 per hour
• £27.78 per hour overtime (paid after 8 hours worked)
  
  

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Previous multi-drop experience is advantageous but not essential
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements
• A professional and reliable approach to work
