We are looking for someone with experience and an interest in the Reception Administrator role who would enjoy working with vibrant team and inspiring amazing children in the school in Cambridge City.

The role is full time Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

When you work in this school your responsibilities will include :

  • To represent the school in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answering general telephone and face to face enquiries and signing in visitors
  • The post holder would be expected to liaise with staff at all levels as well as parents, students, and external agencies
  • Responsible for looking after the reception area making sure procedures and practices of the school are followed
  • To be responsible for the order and appearance of Reception
  • To ensure confidentiality of information, including information about current, past, and prospective students and staff in line with GDPR and the School policies



These are some of the requirements that we need from you:

  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • 2 recent professional references
  • Be committed and enthusiastic, as well as flexible, punctual, and reliable
  • Previous experience working with School database software (SIMS) is desirable
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set and work to agreed targets and work schedules
  • Excellent attention to detail
