What you'll bring:

  • Active NISCC Registration and NVQ Level 3 in a care-related subject
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Safeguarding Level 2 and Advanced CPI / Safety Interventions training
  • Proven experience supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behaviours

What you'll do:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with young people while following personalised care guidelines.
  • Assist with everyday life - from personal care routines and meals to safe medication management.
  • Stand by young people during tough moments, using proactive techniques to safely defuse distress and challenging situations.

Please note: Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)

The Role: You'll deliver person-centred care, assist with daily routines and medication, offer compassionate support during times of distress, and help young people thrive in their local community.
