Warehouse Operative

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution site based in the Bolsover area of Chesterfield.

This is an ongoing role working in a clean warehouse where accuracy and attention to detail are key. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly within picking, packing or order processing.

What you'll be doing

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse computer systems
• Booking stock in and processing orders accurately
• Carrying out basic quality checks before dispatch
• Helping with goods in and goods out when needed
• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and organised
• Working towards daily targets as part of the warehouse team

Hours

Rotating weekly shifts:

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• Monday - Friday, no weekend work!

Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous warehouse, picking or packing experience
• Is confident using handheld scanners and computers
• Has good attention to detail
• Can work well as part of a team
• Is reliable and wants a long-term opportunity
