Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. The ideal candidate will monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security protocols are followed. You will be tasked with identifying and addressing safety hazards, reporting incidents, and assisting in emergency response situations. Your keen observation skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining a secure environment.

Key responsibilities include monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular inspections, and maintaining accurate logs of daily activities and incidents. You will collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed, providing support during investigations and emergencies. Additionally, the Security Officer will be responsible for issuing access passes and ensuring proper identification protocols are in place for all visitors. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interact with staff, visitors, and law enforcement to relay information and coordinate responses effectively.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred. A valid security license and certification in first aid and CPR are advantageous. The ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, is crucial.
