School Janitor

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Janitor to maintain a clean and safe environment for our students and staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks throughout the school premises. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, and ensuring that all common areas, such as hallways, cafeterias, and classrooms, are kept tidy and organized. Additionally, you will be tasked with emptying trash bins, replenishing supplies, and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

In this role, it is essential to follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to established guidelines. The School Janitor will also assist in setting up facilities for events and meetings, ensuring that spaces are prepared and cleaned afterward. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working independently or as part of a team. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are crucial, as well as a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all. Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is preferred, but not mandatory.
