Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees alike. Your primary duties will include monitoring the premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols. You will also be tasked with identifying and reporting any suspicious activities, potential hazards, or theft incidents, while working collaboratively with local law enforcement when necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent observational skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service. You should be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, as well as effectively communicate with both staff and patrons. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred, along with a valid security license. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional certifications in security and safety practices will be considered an asset.
