Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent prestige vehicle specialist based in Sittingbourne, Kent, for the position of Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Service Advisors within the automotive sector to join a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional customer service and working with luxury vehicle brands. Benefits for the successful Service Advisor will include: • Competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience • Performance-based bonus structure • Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 to 17:30, with no weekend work • 28 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays • Access to online GP services and wellbeing support programs • Paid overtime opportunities • Supportive and professional working environment • Opportunities to work with luxury brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, and BMW Duties include: • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival • Assess customer vehicle needs and advise on maintenance and repairs • Handle vehicle sales enquiries, providing information, scheduling appointments, and referring leads to the sales team • Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and customer communication • Maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions, service requests, and sales leads • Keep customers informed of vehicle progress, costs, and estimated timeframes • Promote additional services and vehicle sales opportunities where appropriate • Process payments accurately in line with company procedures • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business • Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and professional customer environment Requirements for the Service Advisor position: • Proven experience in a customer service or sales role within the automotive sector • Strong mechanical knowledge or experience working with vehicle servicing and repairs • Familiarity with prestige vehicle brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, and BMW is desirable • Ability to identify sales opportunities and communicate effectively with customers • Excellent organisational and time-management skills • Professional and approachable demeanour with strong communication skills • Full UK driving licence is essential If you are a dedicated Service Advisor seeking to contribute to a well-established independent specialist and enjoy working with luxury vehicles, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
