About the role
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time, Flexible (Term Time Only)
Salary: £100 - 160 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / Next Term
Are you a qualified secondary educator who loves the classroom but wants to leave the departmental politics and marking behind? Join our secondary network as a Supply Teacher and enjoy a career that offers total variety and a genuine work-life balance.
Total Flexibility: Your Subject, Your ScheduleWe are seeking Qualified Secondary Teachers (QTS/ECTs) who are adaptable, resilient, and ready to lead. Whether you are a specialist looking to broaden your horizons or a veteran teacher seeking a change of pace, this role allows you to focus on high-impact teaching across the full secondary age range (11-18).
- The Ultimate Variety: No two days are the same. One day you'll be leading a GCSE English discussion, the next you'll be supervising a Year 8 Science practical or a Year 10 Geography workshop.
- Professional Freedom: Experience a range of school cultures-from high-achieving grammar schools to vibrant city academies-helping you find the perfect environment for your style.
- Zero Admin Stress: Reclaim your evenings and weekends. Simply deliver engaging lessons and leave at the end of the school day with no data tracking, planning, or parent evenings.
- Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of £100 - £160, paid every Friday via Randstad.
As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you are the lead professional in the room, ensuring that academic momentum continues seamlessly in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Expert Lesson Delivery: Use your pedagogical training to deliver pre-set work across various subjects, ensuring students stay engaged, productive, and focused on their learning objectives.
- Elite Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, respectful, and high-energy environment using your professional presence and established behavior management strategies.
- Adaptive Teaching: Use your QTS skills to differentiate tasks on the fly, supporting students with SEND and stretching high-attainers even in unfamiliar subject areas.
- Professional Continuity: Provide high-quality feedback to the school, ensuring the regular teacher has a clear picture of pupil progress and behavior.
We are looking for reliable, qualified professionals who can command a room with confidence. You are an ideal fit if you:
- Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification (ECTs are highly encouraged to apply).
- Are Versatile & Resilient: You can walk into any classroom-regardless of the subject on the door-and establish a positive, authoritative learning environment.
- Are a Strong Communicator: You can build rapport with teenagers quickly and manage diverse classroom personalities with professional ease.
- Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding.
