About the role
Accounts Assistant, Stoke-on-Trent, £25,000 – £27,000 DOE
Our client is a well-established and growing organisation based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. Due to continued success and business expansion, they are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has some accounting experience and wants to learn and expand their knowledge and skills within a fast-paced, supportive team environment. - Processing financial transactions
- Posting incoming payments and receipts accurately
- Setting up cheques, and BAC’s payments
- Allocating incoming funds
- Assisting with financial queries from internal teams and stakeholders
- Remaining compliant with company policies and procedures
They are seeking a candidate who has previous experience within an office environment and ideally have some accounting or finance experience. Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with queries is essential along with excellent attention to detail and Microsoft Office skills. In return you will be based in a bright, modern office environment, within a supportive and friendly team. There are progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
