Backshift School Caretaker

We are seeking a dedicated Backshift School Caretaker to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our educational facilities during evening hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning classrooms, hallways, and restrooms. You will also monitor the school grounds and ensure they are secure, addressing any issues that may arise promptly. Additionally, you will assist with the setup and takedown of furniture and equipment for various school events, ensuring that all areas are ready for use the following day.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in a similar role is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. You will be required to collaborate with school staff to address specific maintenance needs and respond to emergency situations as they occur. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential for this position.
