KS1 Early Career Teacher (ECT)

A nurturing, well‑led primary school is seeking a KS1 ECT to join their team from September in Kings Norton. This is a brilliant opportunity to begin your teaching career with strong support, clear routines and a friendly staff culture.

The Role

• Teach a Year 1 or Year 2 class with structured, engaging lessons
• Build positive relationships and create a calm, inclusive classroom
• Deliver phonics, early reading and early maths with clarity
• Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to individual needs
• Work closely with your mentor to meet ECT standards

About You

• Qualified ECT ready to begin induction
• Confident with early curriculum frameworks
• Warm, organised and proactive
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
