KS2 Early Career Teacher (ECT)

A friendly, community‑focused primary school is looking for a KS2 ECT to join their Key Stage 2 team in Edgebaston. You’ll take on a lower or upper KS2 class and help pupils make strong academic progress through structured, engaging teaching.

The Role

• Teach across the KS2 curriculum with clear planning and progression
• Deliver high‑quality lessons in reading, writing and maths
• Build strong relationships with pupils and families
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Work with your mentor to meet ECT standards

About You

• QTS and readiness to begin ECT induction
• Strong subject knowledge across KS2
• Confident, reflective and organised
• Positive classroom presence and consistent behaviour management
