A Career Built on Inspiration and Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated Classroom Support Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. This role is ideal for those passionate about primary education, literacy, and community building. You will support the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and ensuring no child is left behind.

  • Diverse Impact: Work across the whole class, leading small groups in phonics, reading, or maths to boost confidence and attainment.
  • The Ultimate Teacher Training: This is the perfect springboard for aspiring Primary Teachers (PGCE/School Direct) or those looking to gain formal classroom experience.
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy typical school hours (approx. 8:30 am - 3:30 pm) with no "take-home" work or weekend commitments.
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of £88.92 - £100, paid every Friday via Randstad.
Your Role as an Educational Partner

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you are the backbone of the classroom, ensuring lessons run smoothly and pupils remain engaged.

  • Small Group Interventions: Lead "breakout" sessions to support pupils who need an extra boost in core subjects like English and Maths.
  • Creative Classroom Management: Assist the teacher in preparing resources, creating displays, and managing classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Holistic Pupil Support: Assist with the social and emotional development of students, helping them build resilience and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborative Success: Work closely with the Class Teacher to track pupil progress and ensure a safe, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment.
Essential Requirements

We value energy, initiative, and a "can-do" attitude. You are an ideal fit if you:

  • Are Proactive & Energetic: You see what needs to be done and jump in to help, whether it's setting up a science experiment or mediating a playground dispute.
  • Have Relevant Experience: This could be from a school, youth club, coaching, or any setting where you have mentored or led young people.
  • Are Academically Confident: You have a strong grasp of the primary curriculum and the ability to explain concepts in a way that "clicks" for children.
  • Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding and child welfare.
