Unqualified Behaviour Teaching Assistant

We’re recruiting on behalf of a primary school in the L13 area of Liverpool who are looking for an Unqualified Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a long-term role.

You will be working with children in a KS2 class, supporting with their learning and helping build confidence and rapport with children with SEMH and SEN needs. You will be a great role model, and this is your chance to every day to make a real impact.

About the Role

As an Unqualified Behaviour TA, you’ll work alongside experienced staff to:

  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies

  • Build trust and consistency through 1:1 and small group work

  • Help students re-engage with learning and develop resilience

  • Model positive behaviour and encourage reflection

  • Be part of a team that celebrates small wins and long-term growth

No formal qualifications are required—just the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive.
