Our client, a leading insurance organization, is seeking a Manager, Investment Accounting to lead its investment accounting function. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing investment accounting and reporting, driving process improvements, and partnering with senior finance executives to support strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities

Manage the accounting and financial reporting for complex investment portfolios.
Ensure timely and accurate statutory and US GAAP reporting.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and accounting requirements.
Partner with Finance, Treasury, Investments, and executive leadership on key business initiatives.
Analyze investment performance, identify risks, and implement process improvements.
Lead accounting policy implementation, systems enhancements, and operational transformation projects.
Mentor and develop staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
8+ years of investment accounting experience within insurance or financial services.
Strong knowledge of statutory accounting (SAP) and US GAAP.
Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with investment accounting platforms and financial reporting systems.
