Wraparound Care Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and caring individual to support the delivery of our new wraparound care provision from September/October 2026.

Working alongside the Wraparound Care Leader, you will help provide a safe, enjoyable and engaging environment for children after school.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and preparing activities.
• Support children in a range of play and enrichment activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and positive relationships.
• Prepare and serve light snacks and refreshments.
• Ensure children's safety and wellbeing throughout the session.
• Communicate any concerns to the Wraparound Care Leader and senior leaders.
• Assist with tidying, cleaning and storing equipment at the end of each session.

Essential Requirements

• Enjoy working with children.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow school policies and procedures.
• Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.

Desirable

• Experience of working with primary-aged children.
• First Aid qualification.
• Food Hygiene qualification.
