Position: Secondary Mathematics Supply Teacher

Locations: Okehampton & surrounding areas (Tavistock, Crediton, Hatherleigh, Holsworthy, Exeter)

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply

Salary: £130.00 - £160.00 per day (Day-to-day cover) | Paid to Scale (Long-term contracts)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality KS3 and KS4 Mathematics instruction using pre-set school plans.

• Provide general cover across other secondary subjects as required by the school.

• Follow all lesson materials provided to ensure continuity of learning for students.

• Maintain positive behaviour management and foster a productive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT/NQT status (Essential).

• Proven teaching experience within the UK secondary education system.

• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt seamlessly to new school settings.

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the DBS Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new check).

• Right to work in the UK.
