Are you a passionate, patient, and dedicated individual looking to make a genuine difference in children's lives?

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bolton starting this September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity running 5 days a week throughout the academic year.

In this role, you will work closely with class teachers to support primary pupils across the curriculum. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment that empowers young learners to reach their full potential.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support in core subjects like reading, writing, and mathematics.

• Work closely with class teachers to prepare learning materials and deliver engaging primary lessons.

• Help maintain a calm, positive classroom atmosphere using proactive behavior strategies.

• Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and active engagement in group activities.

• Assist with outdoor play, lunch duties, and practical classroom activities as needed.

• Prior experience working with primary aged children (in a school, nursery, care, or youth setting) is desirable.

• Patient, resilient, empathetic, and adaptable with a strong "can-do" mindset.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with young pupils, teachers, and parents.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
