This well-established training provider has an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality apprenticeship training and is continuing to grow its Electrical department. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Installation Assessor to support apprentices across South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
In this role, you will assess Electrical Installation apprentices in the workplace, carrying out on-site and remote assessments while supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You'll work closely with employers, ensuring apprentices are progressing successfully and receiving the highest standard of support.
This company is committed to investing in its staff and offers genuine long-term progression. If you are an experienced workplace assessor who is not yet IQA qualified, they will fully support you through your IQA qualification following a successful probation. You'll also receive ongoing industry training in emerging technologies including EV Charging, Solar PV and Inspection & Testing to ensure your technical knowledge remains current.
This role would suit an experienced workplace Electrical Installation Assessor who enjoys developing apprentices and is looking to join a supportive team that genuinely values staff development, collaboration and long-term career progression.
The Role
Assess Electrical Installation apprentices in the workplace
Carry out a mixture of site visits, remote reviews and portfolio assessments
Hybrid role with flexibility to manage your own diary
Work closely with employers to support apprentice progression
Fully funded IQA qualification for the right candidate
Ongoing training in Solar PV, EV Charging and Inspection & Testing
Cover South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire
The Person
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
AM2/JIB Gold Card or equivalent industry competence
Qualified Workplace Assessor (TAQA/A1/CAVA or equivalent)
Ideally 1-2 years' workplace assessing experience
Passionate about supporting apprentices and developing future electricians
