NRL are currently recruiting for Quality Inspectors on a fixed term contract to join a world-leading, global Battery Manufacturing organisation based in the North East of England to support the development and operation of a world class, innovative, large-scale mass manufacturing plant.This is a unique and rare opportunity to join one of the most exciting, large scale, net zero industrial developments where new and emerging technologies will be adopted in support of the rapidly growing electric vehicle marketplace.Main Objectives: The role of the inspector is to complete departmental objectives through daily inspections and validation tasks. Maintaining a shop floor presence with a quality and safety mindset.Support with containment activities. Outline and Responsibilities: Maintain standards relating to Safety, Quality and EnvironmentalSupport departmental and Organization objectivesWorking within a Team of Quality Inspectors conducting dimensional, visual and data related quality checksWorking with a range of test / analysis equipment e.g. Microscope and X-rayConduct / support Process & Product Audits in line with IATF requirementsSupport 8D and root cause analysis investigationsLead with a strong sense of customer focusAny other requirements as required by the company in line with the terms and conditions. Background and Experience Required:Must be PC literate, experienced in Microsoft packages e.g. Excel & PowerPointGood interpersonal skillsExperience within a Li Battery facility advantageousExperience of IATF16949 & ISO9001 / 14001 advantageousManufacturing Environment experience advantageousShift working PatternsReasonable amount of Planned overtime when requiredAbout AESC: AESC is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-performance batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
