Finance Business Partner - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Based in Edinburgh, this 12-month fixed-term contract offers the chance to work closely with operational teams, providing financial insight that supports informed decision-making and business performance. 

The Opportunity 

You'll become a trusted finance partner to a range of stakeholders, helping to improve financial performance through meaningful analysis, reporting and commercial support. This is a varied role where you'll contribute to planning, forecasting and continuous improvement while building strong relationships across the business. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial support and insight.  

• Prepare management information, forecasts and budgets.  

• Analyse financial performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities.  

• Support business planning and decision-making through clear financial analysis.  

• Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements.  

• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider finance team.  

Candidate Profile 

• Previous experience within a finance business partnering or management accounting environment.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  

• Confident communicator who can build effective working relationships.  

• Comfortable working with financial data and presenting meaningful insights.  

• Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
