Salary: £15.50 - £17.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Pertemps Isle of Wight are recruiting on behalf of our client in East Cowes for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a long-term position within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be replacing a long-serving employee who is retiring, so we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with proven industrial welding and fabrication experience.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work, producing components to specification while working safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in industrial welding and fabrication.
  
  
• Ideally experienced in both MIG and TIG welding, although candidates with extensive experience in either process will also be considered.
  
  
• Experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminium.
  
  
• Confident using fabrication machinery, including:
  
  
  • Guillotine
    
    
  • Brake press
    
    
  • Cut-off saws
    
    
  • Other general fabrication equipment
    
    
• Ability to read engineering drawings would be advantageous.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  
  
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
