Salary: £130 - 160 per day (Weekly Pay - dependent on experience)

Start Date: Immediate / Next Term

Play with Purpose: Impact Without the Paperwork

We are seeking nurturing and energetic EYFS Teachers to provide expert cover for Reception classes. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about the Foundation Stage but want to skip the endless data-logging and "Evidence Me" uploads to focus on high-quality interaction.

  • EYFS Expertise: Lead a classroom where play is the vehicle for learning, ensuring a balance between child-initiated and adult-led activities.
  • Early Literacy & Phonics: Use your skills in Phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc, Little Wandle) to set the foundation for reading and writing success.
  • Work-Life Balance: Leave the classroom at the end of the day! As a supply teacher, you provide the stability and expertise Reception needs without the weekend planning and observation tracking.
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of £130 - 160 per day, paid every Friday via Randstad.
Your Role as an Early Years Lead

As a Reception Supply Teacher, you are the architect of a safe, stimulating, and happy environment where every child feels confident to explore.

  • Dynamic EYFS Delivery: Facilitate engaging "Learning through Play" that meets the seven areas of the EYFS framework.
  • Nurture & Development: Support children as they develop their PSED (Personal, Social and Emotional Development) and transition into the routines of school life.
  • Classroom Energy: Manage the high-energy flow of a Reception setting, from outdoor learning and messy play to structured carpet time.
  • Seamless Continuity: Step into new settings and quickly build rapport with Teaching Assistants and parents, ensuring the children's routine remains consistent and calm.
Essential Requirements

We are looking for qualified professionals who understand the unique magic of the Early Years. You are an ideal fit if you:

  • Hold QTS: You have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a clear focus or experience in EYFS.
  • Are an EYFS Specialist: You have a deep understanding of the Early Learning Goals and the importance of the "characteristics of effective learning."
  • Are Adaptable & Fun: You can crawl into a reading den, lead an impromptu singing session, and maintain professional boundaries all in one morning.
  • Are Committed: You hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding.
