Joiner

Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to join a busy construction project in Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5).

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Joiner looking for an immediate start, with work available until September.

The Role

As a Joiner, you will be carrying out a range of first and second fix carpentry duties, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Typical duties include:

• First and second fix joinery.
• Hanging doors and fitting frames.
• Installing skirting boards and architraves.
• General finishing and snagging works.
• Reading and interpreting site drawings.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous experience working as a Joiner on construction sites.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
