Digital ArchitectLocation: Hybrid (2-3 days travel to offices in Hemel Hempstead) Contract: Outside IR35 Day rate: Up to £600 per day Duration: Initial 6 months but will most likely extend Start date: ASAPA well-known organisation within the hospitality industry currently require support the with integrating a new booking system.As a result, they're require a hands on not conceptual, Architect, from a holidays, large hotel chain, retail, CMS or large scale Ecommerce background to support with the delivery.You will possess a blend of technical expertise, design thinking approach, and a deep understanding of ecommerce architecture tailored to the unique needs of their industry.Key Deliverables: - Design and implement intuitive navigation and streamlined booking processes for their range of offerings, including holidays, dining, and entertainment packages, that enhance our customer's experience. - Implement inventory techniques tailored to our offerings to ensure efficient management and real-time availability. - Design and implement data retrieval APIs to facilitate efficient access to data from differing tiers of the system, supporting seamless integration with third-party platforms and services. - Analyse complex problems, identify bottlenecks, and devise efficient solutions to optimise system performance and deliver exceptional experiences to customers.Required experience: - Knowledge of full stack technology concepts including enterprise architecture, application architecture, databases, software, cloud computing, UI design - Strong experience with object-oriented design and modelling - Strong experience with business process design and modelling of technology enabled processes - Strong experience with enterprise application integration and frameworks - Experience with relational and dimensional database modelling - Experience with visual modelling tools including UML - Experience working in full cycle and Agile/Scrum based projects and providing technical leadership - Thoughtful practitioner of software engineering methodologies, frameworks and tools - Strong experience with architecting and deploying cloud enabled solutions
