Midweight Designer

Most in-house design roles are about maintaining a brand. This one is about building it.
  
You’d be the sole designer inside a marketing team rebuilding the identity of a well-known membership organisation with millions of members across the UK. A brand refresh is in process, and you’d be shaping how that lands, not inheriting a system someone else has finished.
  
The Role
You own the day-to-day design output:  web, social, and campaign work. Concepting is led by the senior copywriter and you, so your role is to bring ideas into that early thinking and translate direction into visual work, not simply execute it.
  
There’s a brand system that needs to flex across different audiences, and you’ll help build that system and defend it as things evolve.

£30,000 – £40,000

The Person
You’re a Midweight Designer, most likely from a creative, marketing or digital agency. Your portfolio leans digital: email, web, social, campaign work, built on and around design systems. Motion and print design is a bonus.
  
You’re ready to be the sole designer leading creative in a highly ambitious business, and you can argue for a creative decision, not just make one.
