Legal Secretary (12-month FTC)

I'm currently working with a well-established and highly respected law firm in central Bristol who are looking to add an experienced Legal Secretary to one of their busiest teams on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, professional firm where you'll play a key role in supporting a team of fee earners, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

The Role

As a Legal Secretary, you'll provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support, including:

• Diary and inbox management
• Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
• Audio and copy typing where required
• Opening new client files and maintaining accurate records
• Arranging meetings and managing calendars
• Liaising with clients professionally via phone and email
• Handling document management and electronic filing
• Supporting fee earners with billing, expenses and other administrative tasks
• General office administration to keep the team running efficiently

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator, or strong secretarial/administrative experience supporting busy professionals
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communication skills and a professional approach
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
