About the role
Location: Orrell Park
Salary: £38,295 per annum (Unqualified) | £39,847 per annum (Level 5 Leadership & Management Qualified)
Hours: Full-time – 40 hours per week
Shifts: Flexible rota including days, evenings, weekends, on-call and sleep-ins
Shift Times: Includes 1 shift and 1 sleep-in per week
Please note: We do not hold licences to support overseas candidates. You must have previous management experience within a Supported Accommodation or Children’s Residential setting, along with experience managing staff and a service.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Home Manager to lead a Supported Accommodation service in Prescot (L34), supporting young people aged 16+ as they develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for adulthood.
This role is suitable for candidates commuting from Liverpool, St Helens, Widnes, Warrington, Knowsley, Kirkby, Huyton, Rainhill and surrounding areas.
As an experienced Home Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management of the service, ensuring young people receive safe, high-quality and person-centred support while maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding requirements and organisational policies.
You will lead and develop a team of support staff, oversee the daily running of the home, manage risk, maintain quality standards and work collaboratively with professionals, families and commissioning teams to achieve positive outcomes for young people.

Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards.

Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification (or equivalent) desirable, with enhanced salary available for qualified candidates.

Current or recent experience managing a Supported Accommodation or Children’s Residential service.

Experience supervising and managing professional staff, including inductions and ongoing development.

Experience working with young people aged 16+.

Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding and relevant legislation.

Experience managing risk, support plans and positive outcomes for young people.

Ability to develop and maintain effective administrative systems.

Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with local authorities, education providers and other professionals.

Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.
