Litter Picker

We are seeking a dedicated Litter Picker to help maintain cleanliness and enhance the aesthetic appeal of public spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting litter and waste from parks, streets, and other outdoor areas, ensuring that the environment remains clean and inviting for the community. You will work independently or as part of a team, following designated routes and schedules to effectively cover assigned areas. A strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community service is essential, as you will play a key role in promoting public health and safety.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to litter collection. Responsibilities include sorting and disposing of collected waste properly, reporting any hazardous materials or maintenance needs to the appropriate authorities, and maintaining equipment and supplies. You should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and be physically fit, as the role involves walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Previous experience in a similar role or within the environmental services sector is advantageous but not required.
