About the role
Key Responsibilities Execute regional procurement strategies and localization initiatives across Europe. Identify, qualify, and manage suppliers for energy storage components and systems. Lead supplier negotiations, RFQs, pricing discussions, and contract execution. Manage supplier performance, capacity planning, delivery schedules, and quality issues. Support sourcing activities for key ESS components, including battery cells, PCS, BMS, thermal management systems, enclosures, electrical equipment, cables, and related components. Monitor market trends, pricing movements, supplier risks, and supply chain developments. Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant European regulations, certifications, and ESG requirements. Collaborate closely with engineering, quality, project delivery, finance, and legal teams. Provide regular reporting on project status, supplier performance, risks, and market insights. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, International Trade, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of procurement experience within the energy storage, battery, renewable energy, power electronics, or wider energy sector. Strong knowledge of European supplier networks, sourcing strategies, and procurement processes. Proven experience in supplier management, commercial negotiations, contract administration, and cost optimization. Understanding of energy storage systems (ESS) and key components such as battery cells, PCS, BMS, thermal management systems, electrical components, and related equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with European regulatory requirements, CE compliance, ESG standards, and supply chain due diligence practices. Fluent in English, with the ability to conduct commercial negotiations and manage supplier relationships independently. Mandarin language skills would be advantageous due to regular collaboration with international suppliers and global stakeholder teams. Applicants with an existing right to work in Italy, Greece, or the UK may be particularly well positioned due to the company's operational footprint and business requirements. Experience working in the Greek market or managing supplier relationships across Southern Europe would be advantageous. A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
