Mandarin speaking Accounting Manager - renewables

Opportunity for a Mandarin speaking professional to join a global leading renewable energy (Solar PV) manufacturing company as Accounting Manager. Cost accountant background & experience is a strong plus. Work Visa will be sponsored. Location: on side, willing to locate to South Carolina The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations with a strong focus on manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports month-end close activities, and partners with operations to provide timely financial information for business decisions. Essential Responsibilities ● Oversee daily accounting activities, including General Ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and account reconciliations. ● Manage month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. ● Review product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost variances. ● Monitor inventory transactions and support physical inventory counts. ● Prepare cost analysis, variance reports, and other financial reports for management. ● Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards. ● Support internal and external audits. ● Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, and Corporate Finance to improve accounting processes and cost visibility. ● Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff as needed. Qualifications Required ● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ● Bilingual in Mandarin ● Previous accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. ● Leadership or supervisory experience preferred (not a must) ● Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and general accounting. ● Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.). ● Advanced Excel skills. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred ● CPA or CMA certification. ● Experience supporting a manufacturing startup. ● Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
