Site Safety Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Site Safety Manager to oversee and enhance safety protocols across our project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety programs that comply with all regulatory and industry standards. You will conduct regular site inspections, identify potential hazards, and enforce corrective measures to ensure a safe work environment for all personnel. Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors, you will facilitate safety training sessions, promote safety awareness, and ensure that all team members adhere to established safety policies.

In this role, you will investigate accidents and incidents, compiling detailed reports and recommending improvements to prevent future occurrences. Your expertise will be key in conducting risk assessments, analyzing safety data, and maintaining safety documentation. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and liaise with regulatory agencies as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to foster a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as OSHA or NEBOSH. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably within the construction industry, is required. The ability to work well under pressure, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to safety are essential attributes for success in this position.
