Junior Credit Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Credit Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. Your duties will include monitoring accounts receivable, sending out reminders for payments, and resolving any discrepancies or disputes that may arise. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account status, providing regular updates to senior management on outstanding debts and cash flow projections.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to negotiate and influence. You should be comfortable working with numbers and possess strong analytical skills to assess credit risks and payment histories. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel is essential, as well as a basic understanding of accounting principles. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently will be key in ensuring the efficiency of the credit control process. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate with a willingness to learn.
