Communications Lead

We're partnering with a leading financial services organisation to find an experienced Communications Lead for a business-critical transformation programme.

This is a high-profile role where you'll sit at the heart of regulatory engagement, working directly with senior executives and key stakeholders to manage communications with organisations including the FCA, PRA, ICO and HMRC.

You'll be responsible for shaping clear, credible and consistent messaging, ensuring all regulatory communications are accurate, well-governed and aligned with wider business objectives. It's a role for someone who thrives in complex environments, can navigate sensitive issues with confidence and knows how to influence at the highest levels.

What you'll be doing

• Leading engagement and communications with major UK regulators
• Managing regulatory responses, submissions and stakeholder updates
• Producing executive-level briefing packs, Q&A documents and key messaging
• Preparing senior leaders for regulatory meetings and discussions
• Coordinating activity across Legal, Risk, Compliance, HR and Programme teams
• Maintaining oversight of regulatory commitments and communication plans

What we're looking for

• Background in Regulatory Communications, Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs or Regulatory Engagement
• Experience working directly with UK regulators such as the FCA, PRA, ICO or HMRC
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting Executive and Board-level stakeholders
• Ability to simplify complex and sensitive topics into clear, impactful messages
• Previous experience within financial services or another highly regulated sector
