A welcoming primary school in Clacton-on-Sea is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join its team from September.

This full-time Primary Teacher position is open to teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The school is happy to consider both Early Career Teachers and experienced primary teachers, with the year group matched to the successful candidate’s strengths and experience.

The Primary Teacher Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching where required
• Supporting pupils with different learning needs and abilities
• Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
• Communicating effectively with parents and carers
• Contributing to staff meetings, training and wider school activities
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times

The successful teacher will be supported by a welcoming leadership team and experienced colleagues.

Primary Teacher Requirements

The primary school in Clacton-on-Sea is looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status
• Has experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Has a good understanding of the primary national curriculum
• Can plan engaging and well-structured lessons
• Has strong classroom and behaviour-management skills
• Can assess pupil progress and provide effective feedback
• Is organised, reliable and committed to pupil development
• Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
• Is available to start in September
• Can commit to a full-time, long-term position
