Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Sheffield?

At PK Education, we are looking for experienced and adaptable Supply SEND Teachers seeking day-to-day, short-term, or long-term placements across specialist schools, resource provisions, and SEND settings. We are committed to creating safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environments where every child can thrive.

Ideal Experience Supporting Pupils With:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)

Essential 

  • Qualified and experienced SEND Teacher.
  • Strong understanding of individual learning needs and personalised teaching approaches.
  • Experience delivering differentiated lessons across EYFS, Primary, and Secondary SEND settings.
  • Skilled in using visual supports, sensory strategies, communication aids, and structured routines.
  • Confident in managing complex behaviours using positive behaviour support strategies.
  • Experienced working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and families.
  • Calm, patient, and nurturing approach that helps pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience.
