About the role

Job Title: Class Teacher (Key Stage 2)

Contract: 12 months Fixed Term (Maternity cover)

Start: November 2026

Working Pattern: Full-time

Salary: Main pay scale/Upper pay scale

We’re looking for a talented, passionate and committed practitioner to join our highly motivated staff team on a fixed term maternity cover contract. You will:

  • Supports the values, ethos and overall vision of our school
  • Is a highly effective early years practitioner with a clear understanding of the Key Stage 2 Curriculum and the characteristics of effective learning
  • Prioritises safeguarding, can build positive and trusting relationships with children and adults and has a reputation for honesty, integrity and professionalism
  • Has high expectations for all children and a real determination and belief that all children can succeed and progress well
  • Is willing to go the extra mile to personalise learning and provision for all the children in their care
