Loadbay Operative – Chiller Environment Location: Sittingbourne ME9 8 Shift Times: Monday to Friday – must be flexible to work 06:00–14:00, 08:00–16:00 or 10:00–18:00 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour We are currently recruiting a Loadbay Operative to work within a chiller environment for our client in Sittingbourne. This is a physical, hands-on role involving the stacking and palletising of 10kg tubs of jam ready for dispatch. The Role • Working in a chilled loadbay environment • Stacking, moving and palletising 10kg tubs of jam • Preparing pallets for storage and distribution • Checking, preparing and processing dispatch paperwork • Using computer systems to support dispatch activities • Following health & safety and manual handling procedures • Maintaining a clean and organised work area What We're Looking For • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling • Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team • Comfortable working in a chiller environment • Computer literate and confident using basic computer systems for dispatch documentation • Flexible to work rotating shift times of 06:00–14:00, 08:00–16:00 and 10:00–18:00 • Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as public transport is not suitable and the site location is not easily accessible What We Offer • £12.71 per hour • Temp to Perm opportunity • Monday to Friday – no weekends • Varying daytime shifts • On-the-job training and support • Ongoing work for the right candidate If you're looking for steady weekday work and enjoy a hands-on role in a chilled environment, we'd love to hear from you.
