Trade Compliance Coordinator

Trade Compliance Coordinator | Location: Heathrow, Middlesex
Salary: £27,500 per annum

An established logistics and freight forwarding company is looking for an experienced Trade Compliance Coordinator to support its Key Account function. You will help ensure goods move smoothly across UK and EU borders while maintaining full customs and trade compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Determining tariff classifications and commodity codes
• Providing guidance on UK import requirements
• Auditing import and export entries
• Preparing customs documents and declarations
• Liaising with HMRC
• Supporting customs procedures and internal compliance projects
• Monitoring KPIs and producing reports
• Completing entry checks and weekly compliance reports
• Improving client workflows and operational efficiency

Experience Required

You must have previous customs or trade compliance experience gained within a large business, freight forwarder or customs brokerage. A strong understanding of UK and EU customs regulations, import duties, commodity codes, Incoterms, preference and customs valuation is essential.
