Thorn Baker Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner to work on projects across Manchester.

The Role

As a Joiner, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of first and second fix carpentry duties, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with project specifications.

Typical duties include:

• First and second fix joinery.
• Hanging doors and fitting frames.
• Installing skirting boards, architraves and stair components.
• Fitting kitchens and other timber fixtures where required.
• Reading and interpreting drawings.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Joiner on construction sites.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to producing high-quality work.
