Litigation Legal Secretary

Litigation Legal Secretary – Stockport – Permanent – Up to £28k DOE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join an established firm of solicitors in the area, on a permanent basis.

Duties include:

• Carry out tasks for clients under the guidance of fee earners
• Ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manor
• Adhere to the firm’s quality and compliance standards
• Prepare and manage court documents and bundles
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Act as the first point of contact for new enquiries received by the team
• Respond to enquiries via phone or through the firm’s website, ensuring a professional and helpful response
• Manage the production and distribution of non-standard correspondence
• Create documents prepared by fee earners or outsourced typing services
• Attach relevant enclosures, and completing all associated filing to letters
• Maintain client files, including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving files

This role requires a candidate with previous experience in a legal secretarial role, preferably within a Dispute Resolution team. You will need excellent typing abilities, including audio typing, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You must have strong organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
