This is a strategic appointment into a high-growth office, offering immediate access to quality work, strong client relationships, and a genuine opportunity to shape and expand a successful development-focused practice.

The Opportunity

You will join a rapidly expanding South East team, with significant investment in senior hires and continued growth across the Real Estate offering. The Exeter office has seen consistent Partner-level recruitment, reflecting the firm’s long-term commitment to the region and its client base.

The team advises a broad mix of developers, housebuilders, and investors on complex residential and mixed-use schemes, delivering commercially focused advice across the full development lifecycle—from site acquisition through to disposal and unit sales.

The Role

This is a senior, client-facing position with responsibility for a wide range of development matters, including:

• Strategic land acquisitions and disposals
• Residential and mixed-use development schemes
• Site assembly and option agreements
• Development funding and structuring
• Plot sales and unit disposals
• Ongoing advisory work for developers and housebuilders

You will play a key role in managing client relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the South East Real Estate practice.

The Candidate

• A Senior Associate ready to step into a more senior role, or
• An established Partner seeking a more agile and commercially focused platform

You will demonstrate:

• Strong experience in real estate development work
• A commercial, solutions-led approach
• Confidence advising developers and investors on complex schemes

• A following or clear business development capability (particularly at Partner level)
