Senior Associate/ Partner – Competition

The Opportunity
You will join a collaborative and well-established team providing comprehensive competition law advice across the full business lifecycle. The work is intellectually stimulating and commercially driven, with exposure to high-quality mandates and direct client interaction.

The team supports clients on a wide range of matters including merger control, pricing strategies, regulatory engagement, and competition compliance frameworks, often working alongside commercial and IP specialists to deliver holistic advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on UK competition law and regulatory compliance
• Supporting on merger control processes and acquisitive growth strategies
• Providing guidance on pricing structures, distribution models, and supply chain considerations
• Assisting clients with CMA investigations and broader consumer law issues
• Delivering practical, commercially focused advice aligned with clients’ strategic objectives
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on complex projects

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent)
• Experience in competition law, ideally gained within a reputable regional, national, or City firm
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate complex legal issues into practical advice
• Excellent communication skills and a client-centric approach
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset
