A well-established and globally recognised manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team. The Role

As an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production equipment to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
  • Working on automated manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
  • Fault finding on PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Assisting with equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
  • Electrical bias with approximately 60-70% electrical and 30-40% mechanical experience.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working with PLCs for fault finding.
  • Exposure to Robotics.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or automated industrial environment.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
