About the role

Oakwood Primary Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised Admissions and Attendance Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting our pupils and families, helping to ensure every child has the best possible start to their educational journey.

The role is 8.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday, 40 weeks per year (term-time only, including INSET days, plus one week)

  1. you have experience of managing admissions and attendance in schools
  2. you have excellent organisational skills and are able to manage competing priorities effectively
  3. you are committed to promoting excellence attendance and supporting children and families to achieve the best outcome
  4. You are enthusiastic, proactive and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
  5. You share our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  6. You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy building positive relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external partners
